From launching the new home of UFC memorabilia, with, to signing Anthony Joshua, and sponsoring our local football team Northampton Town FC to extending our partnership with Formula 1, we’ve kept ourselves busy over the past twelve months and fully focused on our mission to help fans of sport, the world over, to #OwnTheMoment.

And despite the ongoing challenges of the #pandemic, the last year has proved to be our most successful to date. Our sales have increased year on year by an incredible 80%. And as our client portfolio has grown, so has our team. We’ve welcome twenty new colleagues to the #MementoGroup family with a recruitment focus on those working in the Creative, Digital and Sales spaces. There are now 55 of us and counting!

As our financial year ends, we wanted to look back over our success stories from the past year.

The new home of UFC memorabilia

After signing a multi-year deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC®), TMG successfully launched UFC Collectibles® on 1st January 2022 - the new home for official UFC memorabilia.

The deal, the largest in TMG’s history to date, enabled us to create and launch a brand-new ecommerce UFC memorabilia marketplace to a global audience of mixed martial arts (MMA) fans.

Now fully-fledged, UFC Collectibles is the official destination for authentic, licensed memorabilia products of the Ultimate Fighting Championship - the world’s most exciting MMA promotion. With a range of items from signed fight wear to signed posters and hand-cut pieces of canvas, UFC’s memorabilia offering brings fans closer to the action than ever before.

With new products available each week, and plenty in store for the years ahead, the launch of UFC Collectibles is a game-changer for our business.

F1 renewal and new show car partnership

TMG has held the licence as official memorabilia partner for Formula 1 since 2019 when it launched - an online shop and auction platform dedicated to past and present F1 memorabilia. We recently confirmed a multi-year renewal of this agreement taking the partnership with the world’s most popular motorsport up to the end of the 2025 race season.

Through F1 Authentics, TMG enables F1 fans to Own the Moment by placing authentic, certified, and licensed memorabilia, re-engineered products, ex-race and show cars directly in their hands and homes.

In addition to selling memorabilia, F1 Authentics is home to F1 Race Cars - a marketplace for all ex-race and show car transactions providing private collectors of race cars with a dedicated destination to shop and enquire about existing and bespoke builds, among a number of other prestigious services.

Working alongside F1 and its associated race teams, TMG produces the finest quality cars for businesses, collectors and race teams, as well as bring heritage cars and liveries back to life.

‘AJ’ Memorabilia

In 2021, TMG signed a licence agreement with two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, to be the official memorabilia partners of the athlete. The deal heralded the company’s first significant agreement outside of motorsport. Much like UFC Collectibles and F1 Authentics, TMG has given the AJ Collection its own platform, where signed items, such as boxing gloves, shorts and signed photos, celebrating his famous bouts, can be found on the newly formed TMG Sports Memorabilia site.

With the expectation of another title bout on the cards soon, the AJ memorabilia ecommerce site remains the premier destination for fight fans to feel closer to AJ and get their hands on authentic items found nowhere else.

Returning to our roots with Northampton Town FC

TMG became sponsors of our local team, Northampton Town FC, with the official TMG Sports Memorabilia branding featuring on players’ shirts, as well as showcasing on advertising hoardings around Sixfields Stadium.

Supporting its local community and those within it is important to our business, and after working with the club for several years, we wanted to extend that support for the 2021/2022 EFL League Two season, as their official sponsors. Through this partnership, we have enjoyed becoming regulars at Sixfields Stadium for home fixtures. At time of writing, the football team is occupying the third and final direct promotion spot with one game remaining. The next game is BIG!

Hiring on all cylinders

Over the past twelve months our team grown to 55 - and the pace of growth is accelerating as we take on more brand partnerships and build upon existing licence agreements.

Hiring on all cylinders, we have welcomed new members to our memorabilia family from all walks of life, covering work skills from marketing to auction and from partnership to creative. TMG has welcomed all and continues to grow.
