The highly anticipated UFC 298 event took place on February 17, 2024, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, United States. It was headlined by a featherweight bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria, competing for the Championship Title. The bout resulted in a win for Topuria, defeating Volkanovski via KO in the second round. This was a monumental bout for UFC audiences, with Topuria claiming the coveted title from the former Champion, who had successfully defended the title five times.  

The event also saw a co-main between Robert Whittaker and Paul Costa, with the athletes competing in a middleweight bout. Whittaker took the glory, defeating his opponent via unanimous decision in the third round. With many other epic events across the night’s cards, it was a truly action-packed evening.
