Alpine unveiled the A526 on 23 January 2026 aboard MSC World Europa, MSC Cruises' European flagship, near Barcelona. Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto pulled the covers, and the venue did the talking for the team's MSC partnership.
It is one of the more unusual rooms a Formula 1 car has been launched in, and a logistics exercise before it is a staging one: a full-size car has to get onto the ship, through the doors and onto its mark, then come off again before she sails.
