As a Data Analyst you will be working on site within the Category Management team, where you will translate numbers and data into useful information that can be used by theorganisation to solve business problems. You will use your skills to interpret data, turning it into valuable insights on areas such as key trends, anomalies and patterns.
Your insights will help influence decision making across the business, enabling us to improve our processes and performance.
Your key responsibilities will be to –
- Consolidate Intake trackers from all Category Managers. Merging all categories across all channels per License.
- Consolidate sales forecasts from all Category Managers. Merging all categories across all channels per License.
- Run weekly/ monthly/ quarterly and YTD reports of sales vs budget, forecast and vs LY performance.
- Run replenishment reports and provide suggested replenishment proposals to the category managers and buyers
- Undertake regular data cleansing and housekeeping. Ensuring all items are classified to the correct categories.
- Monitor the accuracy of data between our ERP system and Shopify ensuring all sales and stock is syncing accurately
- Regularly review base part stock on hand and flag any instances where potential corresponding finished goods are out of stock
- Monitor the component stock on hand vs the finished goods forecast and flag any shortfalls to the relevant buyer.
- Use tools such as Shopify and google analytics to provide insights to the category managersand buyers. E.g. Sales / ATV’s / Conversion rates and slice them per category / territory / or any other key metrics.
- Develop dashboards for topline reporting and visualisations to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and optimise data collection processes by automating data workflows and building efficient data pipelines
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
With 2+ years’ experience in retail and or wholesale and strong mathematical skills. Proficient in data analysis and forecasting, strong Excel skills, including proficiency in functions, formulas, and data cleansing and visualization. With the ability to work to deadlines and strong communication and collaboration skills.
The salary range will be between £30 - £35K dependant on experience and you will be reporting to the Head of Category Management, Gareth van den Berg, garethvd.berg@mementoexclusives.com
