UFC February 2025 Recap: Epic Fights & Electric Moments

February 2025 has been an exciting month for UFC fans, with four high-stake events taking place across the month. We have seen champions rise, newcomers excite, and hearts be broken, let’s take a recap of the standout fights from February and highlight how you can own a piece of the action from each event.  

UFC Fight Night: Adesanya vs Imavov 

Kicking off the month on February 1st, UFC Fight Night: Adesanya vs Imavov took centre stage at the ANB Arena in Saudi Arabia. The event was headlined by a thrilling middleweight battle between Israel Adesanya and Nassourdine Imavov. The bout was won by Imavov via a second-round overhand right which knocked out the former champion.  

The co-main event held the same suspense for fans with Michael ‘Venom’ Page taking on Shara Magomedov in the middleweight division. MVP cruised through the bout, keeping the range to earn himself a unanimous decision win.

UFC 312: Du Plessis vs Strickland  

The following week, the UFC took a trip down under to host a PPV event at the Qudos Arena in Sydney, Australia. The main event of the evening decided the fate of the middleweight division with Dricus Du Plessis taking on Sean Strickland for the second time. Dricus Du Plessis put a full stop at the end of their rivalry with a convincing unanimous decision win over the challenger to retain his middleweight belt.  

The co-main event of the evening showcased a strawweight championship bout between Weili Zhang and Tatiana Suarez. Zhang proved to the world why she is the most dominant strawweight in the UFC with a unanimous decision win.

UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs Rodrigues 

Mid-Month, on February 15th, the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, was the venue for UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs Rodrigues. The event showcased a series of compelling matchups, with the main event the delivering a standout performance. Jared Cannonier took on Gregory Rodrigues in the middleweight division, with the bout being won by Cannonier via a fourth-round knockout.  

Yousef Zalal took on Calvin Kattar in the co-main event with each fighter aiming to boost themself up the featherweight order. Zalal came out the victor with a strong performance to earn himself the unanimous decision.  

Dedication and skill define those who have what it takes to become a UFC champion. Celebrate the hard work of these athletes with a piece of their action.  

 

UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs Song 

The final trip for the UFC in February took us to Seattle for a bantamweight showdown between Henry Cejudo and Yadong Song. This event marked the UFC’s return to Seattle following a 12-year hiatus, making it a historic moment for the city. The main event bout was won by Yadong Song via technical decision due to an accidental eye poke.  

Anthony Hernandez defeated Brendan Allen via unanimous decision to cap off an amazing evening of fights.
