Audi One: The R26 Concept Premiere, Munich

In brief

  • World premiere of the R26 Concept at the Audi Brand Experience Center
  • The car that told the world what Audi's F1 project would look like
  • A concept show car by definition - months before the race car existed

Audi named the event Audi One and used it to show its hand: the R26 Concept, premiered at the Audi Brand Experience Center in Munich on 12 November 2025, 115 days before the team's first race.

The concept is not the car they will race. It is the colours, the graphics and the design language that will define the one they do - titanium, carbon black and Audi red, with the four rings worked through it - shown in a darkened hall built around illuminated red rings.

A concept show car carries a brand's whole Formula 1 ambition on a stage months before there is a homologated car to point at. The audience never sees the difference. That is the job.
